Your first few weeks as Team Schein Member
From the first day, we strive to provide you with the support and resources necessary for success at our Company. Your manager will have an initial induction plan for you:
On your First day you will be able to:
- Meet with your Manager to walk through the induction planner for your first few weeks at Henry Schein New Zealand.
- Make sure any key questions are answered prior to completing the Induction Schedule.
- Familiarize yourself with your new office surroundings such as Lunchroom/Fridge areas/Restrooms, Printer / photocopy machines, Office Tour, Emergency Exits.
- Access and explore the Henry Schein Australia website (https://www.henryschein.com.au)
- Access and explore the Henry Schein Corporate Website (http://www.henryschein.com) and USA intranet called ‘Connect’ (https://connect.henryschein.com).
- Familiarise yourself with the Team Schein Values, Worldwide Business Standards, and Policies
- Ask fellow TSMs about nearby restaurants and service locations
- Team Introduction - start introductions to TSMs (e.g., your Departments, Direct Reports, if applicable, and other key Stakeholders/Departments recommended by your Manager).
When you meet with your manager you will:
- Discuss your induction schedule for the week; what your Manager would like you to focus on and participate in during the first few weeks.
- Discuss any questions about your job description. Discuss the goals and objectives/performance KPIs to set short term goals.
- Gather Departmental information useful to your job function.
- Obtain reference material to assist you in your new role.
- Discuss any additional training required for your job function.
