Since 1988 Henry Schein One (recently rebranded from Software of Excellence Limited (SoE)) has been delivering innovative clinical and practice management solutions to dental professionals through our flagship product, EXACT.  Since then they have built a global customer base of more than 5000 sites, established offices in the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand and secured customers throughout South-East Asia.

Started by the Weatherly brothers and a friend, EXACT came to life as accounting software.  The shift towards Dental Management came when associates of the founders mentioned the lack of decent management software tools for their practices.

As an early innovator of clinical-based dental software, we have worked closely with the dental profession to pioneer many applications of computers in dentistry. Our development team has created proprietary Microsoft-based software which has been rigorously enhanced and refined to give busy dental professionals the tools required to operate, manage and market their practices efficiently, unobtrusively and profitably.

In the United Kingdom we are the leading supplier of practice management systems to both private and public health (NHS) dentists, selling more than twice as many systems as our nearest competitor each year. We are the preferred supplier to most NHS Local Service Providers.  We are also the largest supplier of dental software in Australia and New Zealand, where more than 1700 private practices use our solutions.  Henry Schein One were a public company and listed on the New Zealand Stock Exchange (NZX) until 2007, when we were bought by Henry Schein.
