Tips for a Successful Onboarding Experience
During your first few weeks, you will participate in an induction where you will meet and learn about all the different departments and teams within our business. However your induction doesn't stop there! During your first few months, take an active role to get the most from your onboarding experience at Henry Schein. Here are some tips and guidelines that will be helpful in the first few weeks:

Take Ownership of Your Onboarding
- Learn as much as you can about the Organization and your Department/role.
- Focus on building positive relationships.
- Keep a folder of your questions throughout your onboarding and determine when and who to ask for more information. i.e. HR Business Partner, your Manager, Co-Workers etc.)

Manage Your Time
- Learn as much as you can about the Organisation and your Department/role.

Leverage your great communication skills!
- Plan to do a lot of listening and demonstrate that you have heard and understood.
- Be prepared before meetings. Have on hand what questions you want to ask and ideas you want to convey.

Set Preliminary Goals
- Together with your Manager, identify some early goals that will set you on the right track.
- Look for opportunities to add value going forward, but be cognizant of the need to continue to learn more about the Henry Schein culture and context that will shape success.
